Sustainable Sanctuaries – Helen Latham

Sustainable Sanctuaries is owned and managed by landscape designer Helen Latham who has over 20 years experience as a landscape architect, environmental consultant and environmental officer in government, private practice and community organisations. Her work has included urban master-planning and streetscapes, landscape and garden design, nature conservation and natural resource management, urban sustainability, landscape policy and development assessment, community engagement, workshop facilitation and cultural heritage protection. She also freelances as an astrologer and illustrator.

Helen has long-term interests in indigenous cultures, world mythologies and spiritual studies, psychology, ancestry, crystals, deep ecology and environmental issues. She loves nature and beauty, and enjoys bushwalking, travel, gardening, writing, art, photography, playing Spanish guitar, and inventing games and stories with children.
